The 14th Kedma & Yeshiva University Inter-Seminary Choir Competition
On January 19th, after months of preparation, 14 seminaries gathered in The Jerusalem Ramada hotel. 2,000 women attended the events to show their support for the seminary girls and for Kedma's social action. The seminaries gathered in order to compete in the annual fundraising event "Songs of Hope" for Kedma Student organization, benefiting women in need. In order to enter the choir competition every seminary has to raise a minimum of 1800 NIS. During the competition every one of the 14 participating seminaries presented their singing dancing and other musical talents. The theme of the competition was Eretz Yisrael and Yerushalayim and the choir had 5 minutes to impress the 16 judges. One of the greatest monents was when SFW, which won 3rd place, tap danced the tkiot shofar. Other great moments included ballet dancing, dancing with Israeli flags, dancing with IDF uniforms, and great musical talents presented.
